The Junco Wristlet - Vintage LV Monogram

Introducing the Junco, this bag is made from an authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Pouch that came inside the Bucket PM.  It's been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for a new owner!!

This bag’s canvas is in great shape. The inside Vuittonite (see below) was very sticky so I’ve completely removed it.  The white canvas remains on the sides inside. There is no stickiness.  The original leather LV tab at the end was cut (who would do that???), so I added a brass D-ring to the end to enable the bag to have a small wristlet carrying chain. 

This little Junco measures is L 6.5 x W 4 x D 0.75" and is perfect for throwing a few cards and cash into ... throw it in a larger bag, or carry it into the bar to give your outfit a fun flair!!

About Vuittonite:  Prior to 1997, Louis Vuitton lined many of its bags with a vinyl-like material known as Vuittonite. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag. If your Vuittonite is starting to get sticky, try putting some talcum powder inside, lightly coating it.  It works!!!
