The Peacock - Vintage Monogram Hobo Tote

This beauty was created from a gorgeous LV Saumur bag, and was fashioned into a hobo tote!  It's got enough room for ALL of your essentials, coming in at 12" wide by 6.5" tall.  

As always, an authentic vintage Louis Vuitton bag was used to make this one-of-a-kind piece.  This bag even has the authentic "Louis Vuitton Paris made in France" leather patch on it!  The entire bag is lined in a brown leather, which makes the LV canvas more substantial.  The outside edge is brown leather lace which has been stitched by hand.  There is a magnetic snap on the inside, which keeps all of your items secure.  There are no pockets.  The braided brown leather strap is long enough to slip over your shoulder, coming in at 36" long.  It's 6 strands braided into a flat section that goes on your shoulder, and then the rounded section that goes down to the clasp.  There's a small amount of fringe hanging from the bottom of the solid brass swivel clasps. 

But wait, there's more!  Also included is a short 12" brass chain strap so that you can wear this in a slouchy style over your arm.  SUPER CUTE!

Please note:  Remember that these are created from VINTAGE bags.  The material may have slight wear-and-tear, but I will call out larger items.  In the front and back bottom of this bag there was a buckle sewed into the canvas. It was carefully removed, so there are small holes in the canvas.  Remember, however, that the entire bag is lined in leather, so they won't get larger, and they certainly aren't noticeable.
