The Waxwing Shoulder Bag in Damier

This beautiful new style bag called the Waxwing was created from a gorgeous authentic Louis Vuitton Damier Bloomsbury PM!!  The zipper was broken and the top was pretty cracked, so I cut it down and braided the top.  It's got some new life now!! 

The interior was removed and ran through the washer, so it is CLEAN!!!  It does have some wear and pen marks still, but still totally functional! It has one large compartment and two small interior pockets.  The front pocket has also been thoroughly cleaned (again, some pen stains). It does have a scratch/burn mark in the Damier (see pic), but you cannot see it at all when the pocket is closed.  I added antique brass eyelets to the sides to secure the antique brass O-Ring clasp for the handle.  The new handle is a 6-strand black braided leather strap that is flat where it sits on your shoulder, and round towards the brass clasps.  It is 31" long and has a fringe that can be trimmed down if desired.  I added some fun antique brass rivets to the front to make it unique!! There are hidden magnetic snaps inside keeping your items secure.  The leather piping on the outside of the bag is in decent condition, but there is an area on the right bottom side that wore through, so the piping was snipped (see pic).
