The Chick Crossbody - Upcycled LV in Damier Azur

Here's a first for me!  I've been trying to get my hands on a Neverfull pouch to see what I could do with it....here she is, meet the Chick!

This small crossbody bag has STYLE! I've taken an authentic Louis Vuitton Damier Azur pouch from a Neverfull bag and fashioned it into this fun crossbody!  The canvas looks great (there are tiny pinholes on the back where I removed the original D-ring), and I did recoat the edges to make them look shiny and new.  The zipper was broken, so I did have to replace it.  The only one I had that would work was a grey one off of another LV bag.  I switched out the zipper pull to a gold LV pull.

The interior has been thoroughly cleaned, however, there are a couple of stains I couldn't get out. I've added gold D-rings to the top of the bag and then clipped on a fun "LV-like" chain and a new vachetta strap that is 40" long.  Both can be removed if you want to put a different strap on her. I love how she turned out!! She's got enough room for just the right amount of things, coming in at 9.5" wide by 6" tall. 

The date code on this bag is TX2139, which indicates she was made in the USA in week 23 of 2019, so she's not that old!!
