This Dove was created from a Chantilly MM that had seen better days. The buckle strap was no longer in great shape, so I removed it and added a magnetic snap!  So much easier to open and close now, and super cute to boot!!

I've cleaned and conditioned all of the vachetta ... and added tan leather braiding to the outside of the front flap.  I've also added a cute vintage Louis Vuitton button that hides the buckle hole. This bag has room for just the right amount of things, coming in at W10.2 x H7.7 x D2.2"

The bag's monogram and interior are both in excellent shape!  The front flap does have some wrinkles, but nothing that detracts from her beauty!! There is a large interior compartment with one zippered pocket inside.  The interior pocket had vuittonite, so I've scrubbed it out as best as I could.  It's clean, but there may be some flakiness.  I replaced the original strap with a more modern canvas one that is adjustable from 30.5-50"

The date code is 8903VI, which indicates it was produced in France in March of 1989.
