What's a baby swan called??  You guess it, a Cygnet!!  This one is the perfect small crossbody, coming in at  7.5" wide by 6" tall and about 2" deep. 

This bag is an authentic Louis Vuitton Cosmetic Poche Toilette 19.  It had a very messy Vuittonite interior (see below), which I removed, leaving the bare clean canvas. I could barely make out the date code on this one, but it started with MB0....so all i can tell is that this bag was produced in France.  

The exterior canvas is in great shape.  I've cleaned and polished the zipper, but it still has a tiny bit of tarnish. I've added gold D-ring connectors to each side which allows you to attach the 40" vachetta leather strap, which means this bag will sit a little higher on your body.  I've also added a decorative "LV-like" chain to the D-rings which gives the bag a fun flair. You can even remove the vachetta strap and carry the chain over your wrist.  So many options!!!

I've also included a removeable organizer that keeps the bag's shape, plus all of your goodies in the right spot!!

About Vuittonite:  Prior to 1997, Louis Vuitton lined many of its bags with a vinyl-like material known as Vuittonite. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag. If your Vuittonite is starting to get sticky, try putting some talcum powder inside, lightly coating it.  It works!!!
