The Bluebird in Black Monogram

This beautiful bag was created from a gorgeous authentic Louis Vuitton Batignolles Horizontal Shoulder bag!! If you haven't heard it before from me, I'm obsessed with the black/monogram look, so I set out to make this one special!

The top is stitched by hand with black leather lace.  The handles were removed and replaced with black braided leather ones that have a 13" drop .  The braiding is flat at the top, and then turns into a round braid with a small amount of fringe.

The vachetta leather on this bag was all dyed black, making this a STUNNING piece.  The leather is in decent condition, but there was some cracking that is far less noticeable now that it's black.  One of the front handle handles has been restiched (see pictures), but it is secure now.  There was no interior clasp, but I can add a magnetic snap if you'd like.  I don't feel it needs one as it fits securely under your arm!  The inside canvas liner is in good condition, but there is a pen stain at the bottom (see picture).  There is an interior zipper pocket and a small pocket for a phone/sunglasses.  All of the work done to this purse was done by yours truly!!! Isn't she a beauty?
