Introducing the Junco, this bag is made from an authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Bucket Pouch 27.  It's been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for a new owner!!

The zipper was missing from this bag, so I added my own flap with whiskey colored leather stitching and a fun pop of leopard inside. The flap has been riveted on the bag with brass rivets. The inside Vuittonite (see below) was in decent shape, so I left it alone but added a small amount of talcum powder to keep it from getting sticky.

I added a simple gold button magnetic snap that keeps your belongings safe.  I love how she turned out!!!  I added two brass D-rings to the sides and a beautiful 6-strand braided leather strap that is flat where it sits across your body, and then moves to a round braid towards the brass clasp.  The strap is 49" long, and the fringe can be trimmed to your liking.

About Vuittonite:  Prior to 1997, Louis Vuitton lined many of its bags with a vinyl-like material known as Vuittonite. It was used (and patented) by Louis Vuitton because its resistance to water makes it easy to clean. Unfortunately, when exposed to high heat or humidity, Vuittonite begins to deteriorate and peel away from the edges of the bag. Over time, it becomes increasingly sticky, forming a residue (which, in extreme cases, is black in color) that transfers to anything placed inside the bag.
